Sales Engineer – Iran South, Alfa Laval, Shiraz, IR
Sales & Distribution Division is looking for a Sales Engineer to be located in Shiraz. This is an interesting and challenging opportunity to be a part of a dynamic, motivated & competent team and presents growth opportunities in one of the most interesting markets.
This position will focus on offering solutions to customers with plate heat exchangers, welded heat exchangers, Olmi shell & tube heat exchangers and air coolers, High Speed Separators and Decanters.
The candidate will be responsible for growing and driving the business of company’s products toPetrochemicals, Chemicals, Metals, Mining industries in Iran Southern region. Candidate will have to achieve the targets based on profound understanding of the customer needs, teamwork and sales experience. The job involves managing the business in terms of customer relationship management, sales and marketing. The succesful candidate will be expected to travel extensively in this market. It is envisaged this travel will be 2- 3 weeks per month.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives
Responsible for Base Business Capital Sales and After Sales for the assigned area for Energy customers.
Order Intake responsibility for the area.
Generate sales leads, assess customer requirement, contract negotiation and sales closure
Responsible for Account Receivable.
Work to a documented sales plan and forecast together with the Country Sales Manager to achieve desired sales targets and maximum financial returns for the Company.
Secure that all contractual commitments prior to finalisation of orders are in accordance to group policies, review and approve in accordance to defined authorization procedures and routines.
Management of exisitng customer base and developing business with major customers
Identify new customers, prospects and suspects.
Present technology conversion offering to various process industry customers.
Present our service portfolio by promoting our Service Center located in Shiraz.
Work together with Industry Managers based in the region implementing the local stategies.
Gather competitor intelligence and take appropriate market actions.
Work Place & Hierarchy
The position is located in Alfa Laval Iran Service Center –Shiraz. Reporting to Country Sales Manager, Iran & Iraq.
An Engineering Degree, Mechanical / Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
Good technical ability, with exposure to Alfa Laval’s core thermal products
Experience of working with End Users
Undergone sales trainings at various levels
Proven track record in sales and negotiation within an industrial sales environment
Experience and networking within the relevant Industry
