Sales Engineer - Power & Gas, Siemens Tehrān, IR
Location: Tehran Organization: Power and Gas Mode of employment: Full time only
What are my responsibilities?
Selling and promoting Siemens power plant solutions portfolio targeting new unit sales
Frequent visits to the decision-makers of customers and business partners to cultivate relationships
Resolute tracking of market developments in the assigned sales regions, continuous updating of the project list & coordination with other Sales organizations
Focus on acquisition of reference power plants to reduce proposal and implementation costs and minimize risks
Resolute application of the marketing sales toolkit to reduce proposal and implementation costs
Lead & co-ordinate timely and complete provision of the requisite inputs for processing proposals as well as conducting the LoA (Limits of Authority) process for all binding proposals to ensure high proposal quality that entails minimum risks, including handover to the Execution team
Conducting contract negotiations, including systematic documentation and communication of the negotiation results, to ensure achievement of the planned volume of new orders in line with the stipulated positive margin
Development of winning-strategy and respective implementation into proposal process
Develop Country profiles, formulate Country strategies based on these profiles
What do i need to qualify for this job?
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 4 years Power plant specific experience, including sales and / or project management, substantial expertise in all fields of power plant engineering, experience with contract management
Experience in generation of proposals, project management of power plant projects in foreign countries; negotiating aptitude with external agencies and customers, consultants, consortium partners
Sensitivity toward other culture/mentality in the respective regions. Sales experience in foreign countries with frequent contacts to customers and international partners
Ability to identify what is essential.
Adaptability and change orientation in response to continually changing conditions
Ability to work in Informal teams across various geographical regions
Fluent written and spoken English
